Witness - Rule of Life

WITNESS

A community of good news in a culture of despair through the practice of witness.

A witness is someone who sees and experiences something important and tells others about it. As followers of Jesus, we share his message of redemption, not as a theory, but as witnesses to the God who is with us in our day-to-day reality.

Witness is not about pressure, performance, or having all the answers. It begins with living closely with Jesus and being attentive to those around us who don't yet know Him. As we pray, spend time with others and open our lives, we make space for genuine and honest conversations about faith.

But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth. - Acts 1:8

Start: Pray each week for someone who doesn't yet know Jesus

There is power in consistent, ongoing prayer. Ask God to bring someone to mind, and commit to pray for them each week by name. As you do, pay attention to opportunities to spend time and share the love of Jesus with them.

Suggested: Pray daily for someone who doesn't know Jesus and regularly speak about Jesus in your everyday life.

As you pray each day, look for natural opportunities to speak about Jesus - sharing your story, offering to pray for someone, or talking about what God is doing in your life.
