ALL IN
VISION FOR KXC IN 2025/26
On Vision Sunday this October, Pete shared what he and the team sense God stirring for the year ahead and there’s so much to be expectant for. We believe 2025 will be a year marked by deep formation, fresh courage, and stories of God moving powerfully in and through our community.
As we look to the future, we’re continuing to centre our life together around seven key priorities; the areas we believe God is calling us to invest in as a church. These priorities aren’t bound to specific ministries, but shape the culture and direction of everything we do. These priorities are:
Multiplying mature disciples
Sharing Jesus courageously
Investing in the next generation
Prioritising the presence
Raising healthy leaders
Creating room at the table
Planting faith-filled churches
You can dive deeper into each of these priorities and explore updates on what’s happening across the life of KXC in our Vision Booklet below.
ALL IN GOALS
Though we are a healthy, growing church in terms of congregation members, we’ve continued to see the gap between givers and those who call KXC home widen over the past couple of years. The reality is that as our congregation grows and with increasing numbers of people coming to faith as the ‘Quiet Revival’ continues to gather momentum, we need to step up financially to match our vision.
GIVING GOAL: £100,000 IN ONE-OFF GIFTS
This year, we’re setting a target of £100,000 in one-off gifts to fund key initiatives, including launching King’s House Coffee, a new Youth Minster for the borough of Islington, a fifth Sunday service in King’s Cross and continuing the search for a new building (with associated fees). We invite everyone at KXC to join us in pursuing these goals and expanding our impact in London and beyond.
In addition to our one-off target, we would love to increase our regular giving to 50% of the adults within our family.
SERVING GOAL: 50% OF CONGREGATION SERVING IN SOME CAPACITY
Our second goal is to raise £150,000 in one-off gifts, preparing us for the adventures that lie ahead, particularly in the area of church growth and planting.
We’d love to encourage you to explore what contributing might look like for you, whether that's financially or by joining a team.
