GET HELP
Our mission at KXC is to recklessly give ourselves away to God, each other, and the people of King's Cross and beyond. That means we want to actively respond to needs within our community and seek the wellbeing of our neighbours. If you’re looking for help, we’d love to come alongside you and help you find the support you need.
SUPPORT FOR THE COMMUNITY
We partner with local organisations and run initiatives to offer help in some key areas:
CHOICES ISLINGTON | PREGNANCY SUPPORT
Supporting those who are facing an unplanned pregnancy by offering a free, non-judgmental, safe counselling space, and a free boutique for baby and children’s clothes and equipment.
GROWING HOPE | OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY
Free occupational therapy, physiotherapy and music therapy for children and young people.
PENTONVILLE | PRISONS WORK
KXC supports the chaplaincy team at HMP Pentonville by providing a team to assist with the Alpha Course and one of their Sunday services.
KX CARE FUND
The fund offers financial assistance towards immediate and emergency needs of those in our community - those who attend our Sunday congregation and those associated with our midweek groups and various church ministries. You can contribute to the fund or request help here.
PASTORAL SUPPORT AT KXC
As a church family, we want to care for one another and help each other find strength in God. That includes things like praying, offering practical help and checking in with each other.
To get involved in the community at KXC, we encourage everyone to commit to a regular Sunday service and to join a Hub group.
If you’re facing a challenging time and would like support, please reach out to your Hub Leaders or Congregation Pastors as the first port-of-call. They’re often best placed to listen, pray with you, or connect you with someone from our Pastoral Team.
SAFEGUARDING
We see safeguarding as a shared responsibility for our whole church family. Please visit our Safeguarding page for more information.
If you think a child or adult is at immediate risk of harm or a crime has been committed, please call 999. If you have any concerns around the welfare of a child or vulnerable adult, please contact our KXC Safeguarding Officers.
