BAPTISM

Baptisms are a highlight at KXC! Through them, we welcome new brothers and sisters into the worldwide family of faith, and into our community here at KXC. Followers of Jesus have been getting baptised for thousands of years, following in his example (Matthew 3:13-17) and in obedience to his command, as given to his very first followers (Matthew 28:19).

Baptism is a simple act with huge meaning. In going under the water, we demonstrate participation in Jesus’ death, and in coming up out of it, we demonstrate our participation in His resurrection. It is a key moment in the life of every believer, as well as for our wider church family.

If you would like your child to be baptised or dedicated at KXC, then please get in touch at hello@kxc.org.uk

BAPTISM FAQs

Jesus came and told his disciples, “I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth. Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptising them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.
