NEW SUNDAYS RHYTHM - Starting Sunday, September 20th
9:30AM Service - Years 7 & 8's
Our yrs 7 & 8s will be hosted at Kings House during the 9:30AM service. They will be in for the first few worship songs and be dismissed to a separate space at the same time as the kids for chats, snacks, games, and Bible study!
5:30PM Service - Years 9+
We are going to be working with the 5:30AM core team to be shaping the 5:30PM to be our youth friendly service. We will gather at 5PM for snacks and social time, join the beginning of service at 5:30PM for worship, and then be dismissed at notices to a separate space for more snacks, chats, and to hear from a variety of guest speakers from the KXC staff team. This is a great opportunity for the youth to gain direct investment from some mature leaders to ask their questions and explore a variety of faith-forming topics!
FOOTBALL KICK OFF! - Monday, 21st September - 5 to 6PM
Our Football Club is back at the Market Road Football Pitches this Monday from 5-6PM! Any questions, send them through to megan.rainey@kxc.org.uk and heli.acoury@kxc.org.uk.
ORCHARD YOUTH CONFERENCE - Saturday, 10th October
The annual Orchard Youth Girls conference is coming up soon! If you have already signed your child up, you should have received a ticket link to pay for their train ticket to and from Birmingham. If you have not received that email and/or did not register your child but would like to sign them up, please email kylee.gault@kxc.org.uk as soon as possible to ensure you have a spot.
GGT GUYS AWAY DAY - Saturday, 17th October
We believe in investing in the young men of the next generation! As such, on Saturday, October 17th we are hosting a youth boys (11-18 years old) day away with several churches we partner with in London. It will be hosted at Bowles Rocks (TN3 9LW) and be a day of nature, fun, and community building!
Cost per child for transport, activities, and meals is £60/person. However, as above we never want cost to be a barrier for a child attending. As such, if the cost of the day is unaffordable for your family at this time, please contact kylee.gault@kxc.org.uk and we can figure out a price that works for your family, no questions asked.

ANNUAL CONSENT FORM - New for 2026/27
New school year, new annual consent form! It's a big one, but you only need to fill it out once for the entire school year. Please fill it out prior to your child attending our midweek youth events. Linked here.

9:30AM Service - Years 7 & 8
At the 9:30AM service, those in years 7 & 8 gather first for worship upstairs with the congregation before heading downstairs in Kings House for snacks, games, a short thought, discussion, and prayer.
(N.B. This will replace our existing group at the 11.30AM service)
5:30PM Service - Years 9+
At the 5:30PM service in Kings House, those in years 9+ (cafe from 5PM!), where the young people will engage first in worship upstairs, and then head downstairs for their own group where there will be space to connect with each other, have snacks, and an opportunity to dig a bit deeper around a short thought/discussion.

5PM Football Club - Years 7+
On Mondays, our football club takes place at the Market Road Pitches from 5-6PM. The free club is for anyone ages 12-15.

6:30PM Guys Hub - Years 9+
Following football, the boys will gather for dinner and hub, led by Pete and Heli! We are so excited for the opportunity to build stronger community with our football boys through this new initiative. The address can be accessed by emailing Megan at megan.rainey@kxc.org.uk.

6:30PM Girls Hub - Years 7+
On Wednesdays, the girls will gather for dinner and hub led by Megan! Content and focus will be somewhere between Girls Bible Study and Nights In, and will be a great opportunity to go deeper together in faith and friendship. The address can be accessed by emailing Megan at megan.rainey@kxc.org.uk.

Retreats
At KXY, we have several opportunities for our young people to get away together for a time of fun, fellowship, and faith exploration. Please visit the “What’s On at KXY” section to see which retreat is coming up next!
Mentorship
We value investing in intergenerational relationships at KXY. As part of this aim, we provide students who are interested in deeper discipleship an opportunity to receive direct mentorship from our youth team. If your child is interested in being set up with a mentor, email Megan at megan.rainey@kxc.org.uk for more information!
