  • MEET LOIS TACKIE-OBLIE

Lois moved to London in 2014 and joined KXC at the beginning of 2015. Lois worked as a solicitor for a few years and it was during that period that a series of circumstances led her to begin a journey of discernment that led her to the unexpected realisation that she was being called to church ministry in the Church of England. Lois trained as an ordinand at KXC and began her curacy within the church in July 2023. Over her time, she has worked across various areas of the church including Student Ministry, Discipleship and Formation. She has also overseen Evangelism, Sunday volunteer teams and even had a little stint working alongside the Kids Team hosting KXC’s online service for kids during the pandemic.

Over the last few years, Lois has developed deep affection for the city of London and with that, a desire to see the city transformed by the power of Jesus and his kingdom. Lois is really excited to begin this new adventure of church planting in Stockwell and is praying for a team that can become true running mates in this journey. She is expectant that the Lord is going to draw people into this story who have a significant contribution to make to the church, that together we will see the Kingdom come in Stockwell and have a lot of fun seeing all that unfolds!

    MEET KXC

KXC (King's Cross Church) is a church in the heart of King's Cross, London, seeking to serve God's purpose to make all things new.

When the church was planted in 2010, Pete and Bee Hughes were sent with a small group of leaders and a simple vision: to recklessly give themselves away to God, each other and the people of King’s Cross and beyond.
