BLACK HISTORY MONTH
We’re marking Black History Month in a few different ways throughout October as we celebrate the contribution of Black communities here in London and continue our journey to pursue racial healing, justice and reconciliation, making KXC a place where everyone can thrive and bring their full contribution to God's story.
This Black history month we’ve felt God speaking to us through Psalm 18:19:
“He brought me out into a spacious place;
he rescued me because he delighted in me”
There are different labels, structures and life events that can attempt to put us into boxes, telling us how to be, how to feel and reducing us to less than we are. But God has and will keep rescuing us from these boxes and bringing us into spacious places.
