PRAYER AT KXC

Throughout history, situations have shifted and circumstances changed when ordinary men and women have found their voice in prayer. As a generation, this is a moment for us to join with others all across the world in seeking God and contending for his kingdom to break out.

PENTECOST 24-7 PRAYER

Pentecost Sunday, on the 19th of May, is a key moment in the church calendar where we remember those first followers of Jesus seeking God in an upper room in Jerusalem.

As those followers prayed, the presence of God fell and the world changed forever. Empowered by the Holy Spirit they started sharing the Good News of Jesus,, salvation broke out in their city and 3000 people came to faith as the gospel message swept across the region. We long to see the same thing happen in our city.

As part of the Pentecost celebrations, and leading up to Pentecost Sunday we’ll be praying 24-7 as a church, seeking God for a fresh outpouring of his Spirit across London. We’ll kick off with a special Seek First gathering on Monday 13th May and then there’ll be 1 hour slots available to sign up to cover the rest of the week in prayer. 

This is a virtual week of prayer, so you can pray anywhere that works for you! Or if you’d prefer, the prayer hut at King’s House is available to book at King’s House House between 9am-5pm each day.

SEEK FIRST

Every Monday evening we gather together to pray and contend for God’s kingdom to break out on earth as it is in heaven These evenings are so powerful and we’re seeing a hunger grow as we pour ourselves out in adoration for Jesus. Everyone is welcome and we’d love to see you there.

SANCTUARY: WORSHIP & PRAYER

Come along to Sanctuary – a quiet space for people to come and rest in God's presence in the middle of their day, with an hour over lunchtime of contemplative worship.
