Apprenticing Jesus involves being with him, becoming like him and practising doing the things he did. We want to provide an opportunity for those between the age of 18-30 to take a year out to develop foundations for life in these three areas.
The KXC Apprenticeship Year would be ideal for anyone considering church ministry and wanting to grow in leadership, or if you have a particular desire to learn from one of our departments. There will be teaching and training, across a range of subjects – from skills-based workshops to theology seminars. Alongside this, you’ll spend time working alongside the team in order to gain practical experience.
Below is a brief description of the range of apprenticeships you can apply for. If you wish to apply for more than one, please state your preference on your application. If you have any questions, contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
King’s Cross Church was planted in February 2010 by a team led by Pete and Bee Hughes. We’ve been discovering what it looks like to recklessly give ourselves away to God, each other and the people of Kings Cross and beyond, as we serve God’s purpose to make all things new.
September 2018- July 2019
Part time (2.5 days): Sunday (half-day), Tuesday, plus an additional day depending on department.

UPDATE: There are now only spaces for Church Planting Apprentices. You would be joining with Tim and Lulu May (East London) or Ben and Hanelle Jones (St Peters, Brockley) at a really exciting point as they launch from KXC in September. The fortnightly teaching would be done with the Apprentices placed at KXC but all other aspects of the training will be alongside the Mays’ or Jones’. Contact email@example.com to be directed to either of these churches.
Apply here: Application form. Send application to firstname.lastname@example.org applications will remain open until mid-August.
