Job Opportunities

Assistant Community Engagement Pastor

Kings Cross Church (KXC) is a growing Anglican church in central London, with a vision to serve God’s purpose to make all things new. The church was started in 2010 by Pete and Bee Hughes, and in that time has grown to a congregation of around 600 people.

We are engaged each week with a range of community projects in the local area, and are recruiting a new role working alongside the Community Engagement Pastor. The role would engage with our local community and global mission ministries, liaising with partner organisations, supporting the organisation of community projects, Sundays community engagement and offering pastoral support to some of those working in compassion ministries that KXC is linked with.

For further job information please see the ‘Job Description‘ attached.

To apply for the role, please send a covering letter and up-to-date CV (giving addresses of two referees – one personal, one professional) via email to: rich@kxc.org.uk

If you have any questions or would like to talk anything through with us, please give Jon Carter a call on 0203 432 5396, or email: jon.carter@kxc.org.uk

Deadline for applications: Friday 22nd September

Interviews: End of September / start of October.

Please note: due to the pastorally sensitive nature of this role and the ministries it is involved with, there is a Genuine Occupational Requirement for the candidate to be a female applicant.
